Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide the international shipping and marine insurance industry with high quality surveys and services on a 24//7 – 365/365 basis. In order to maintain this tradition, we ensure that all IMCS surveyors are highly qualified with extensive sea-going and/or industry relevant experience.

As the nature of the survey business requires surveyors to travel world-wide, offices and surveyors are equipped with up-to-date communication facilities allowing them to contact principals from almost anywhere at any time.

Whilst it is identified that all surveyors have different backgrounds and skills, IMCS places efforts in ensuring that all surveys are carried out in a uniform house-styled manner and in line with good industry practice and standards. To this effect, training seminars and group meetings are organized and educational projects are set up.

In order to support its members with the execution of their day-to-day activities, the IMCS Group is committed to invest in group meetings, training programs, educational  projects and  information data bases.
