IMCS Cargo and Marine surveyors and consultants - Estonia (Tallinn)

Estonia (Tallinn) Back to Overview

The Estonian office of IMCS was formed nearly 10 years ago to provide a high level of survey services to clients. We have grown steadily since then and now provide survey services to a large number of clients including shipowners, charterers, class, cargo/hull and machinery underwriters, P&I Clubs and cargo shippers/receivers.

We act in all Estonian ports as well as throughout the adjacent countries of Latvia and Lithuania. We are also conveniently situated for work in Finland (Tallinn is close to the entrance to the Gulf of Finland) where we have many assignments, and in Sweden. IMCS Eesti AS staff take pride in being very flexible and this enables us to start a survey within a very short time of receiving your instructions.

Our staff is highly professional and able to conduct the whole range of surveys: vessel condition surveys, flag state inspections, vetting surveys, hull and machinery, cargo underwriters inspection, lashing and securing of heavy lift cargoes, towing arrangements/calculation, on/off hire, cargo damage surveys (cocoa beans, sugar in bags, malt in bulk, etc...), steel preloading, loading on board surveys, etc.

Our surveyors are mainly ex-captains and have been at sea for many years. As a member company of IMCS Group Ltd. our staff is kept up to date through the Group training activities and, in addition, we follow various other training courses such as P&I courses organised by the Swedish P&I Club, surveyor's course in St. Petersburg Marine Academy and ultrasonic testing courses. All our surveyors attend marine seminars and forums in Europe and UK regularly. We are available 24 hours per day and the surveyor on duty deals with incoming AOH calls and mails and will take immediate appropriate action in line with the principal's requirements/instructions
