The German office has been operating on a worldwide basis. Since 1980 as experts in the fields of transport, cargo handling, storage, packing, safety and security. In 1998 we joined the IMCS Group and extended our services to include marine- and cargo surveys, training seminars in the specialised fields of ISM/ISPS and other associated consultancy work. We now count many different types of clients - including correspondents of P&I, liability insurers, insurance brokers, ship owners, charterers and shipping agents/managers - on our record. Hence, IMCS Germany has been an integral part of the shipping industry in Germany. We have the facility to appoint other surveyors within the IMCS Group should their specialist skills be called for. We also have strong contacts with the universities, institutes and specialist laboratories for cases where it is necessary to make more exhaustive investigations.IMCS Germany GMBH is officially appointed by the German Government as a ISPS training centre to train and certify CSO and SSO.
